Two Easy Vegan Dips: Honey Ricotta Pistachio and French Onion

Forget the store bought stuff and try these dips for your next party platter.



The Honey Ricotta Pistachio Dip is the perfect combination of salty and sweet. It was inspired by an appetizer at one of my favorite wine bars and can be thrown together in minutes.



The Vegan French Onion Dip is a healthier take on the original using almond milk Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. This dip takes a bit longer because you have to saute the onions, but it's worth every minute!





Honey Ricotta Pistachio Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Kite Hill Almond Milk Ricotta

  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon honey (+ extra to drizzle on top)

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients and mix well

  • Drizzle honey on top before serving

  • Enjoy!

French Onion Dip


Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped onions

  • 1 1/4 cup Plain Unsweetened Kite Hill Greek Yogurt

  • 1/4 cup vegan mayo

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Saute onions at medium-low heat until caramelized (about 25 minutes)

  • Combine yogurt, mayo, garlic powder, and salt in small bowl

  • Add onions once they are cool

  • Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving

  • Enjoy!
